VIOLENCE ERUPTS AT CEMETERY IN ACCO, "ISRAEL" OCTOBER 17, 2004
A few hundred protesters demonstrated in Acco, Israel in one of an ongoing series of demonstrations against the State of Israel and its flagrant disregard for the sanctity of the bones of the dead. Archeologists were exhuming ancient graves for study. Twenty-five people were arrested, including a few Rabbis and one senior Rabbi. Several protesters were beaten and injured.
