This is a message from TrueTorahJews, an organizatio of True Torah observing Jews

In the light of the Annapolis Conference for peace in the Middle East, and in light of certain so-called Orthodox Jewish groups purporting to speak on behalf of Torah in opposition to efforts to bring peace to the Holy Land: TrueTorahJews makes the following public announcement:

We are appalled that the sacred Torah is being denigrated by self-serving individuals and organizations that use it as a political tool for political gain.

Not only is it outright false that the Torah forbids dividing Jerusalem to promote peace and to prevent bloodshed; but the very existence of Jewish sovereignty in an autonomous State is a gross violation of the true Torah view.

Judaism is a Religion, governed by the Torah

Zionism is a politial movement, opposed by the Torah

The Torah stands for peace and harmony; not for nationalism or Zionism. Jewish people are forbidden by the Almighty himself from rebelling against the nations of the world.

Calling for a unified Jerusalem at the cost of offending the world community in the name of the Torah, is in itself the greatest perversion of Torah doctrine, and distorts the word of the Almighty;
