Traditional Jews Are Not Zionists

Although there are those who refuse to accept the teachings of our Rabbis and will continue to support the Zionist state, there are also many who are totally unaware of the history of Zionism and its contradiction to the beliefs of Torah-True Jews.

Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch

Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch
Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch
As the most renowned German Jewish leader of the nineteenth century, Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch wrote:

“Thus, Jews are enjoined to perform a most precarious balancing act. On the one hand there is the obligation to act in an honest, empathetic, loyal and patriotic manner towards the nation in which they dwell. This obligation extends to Jewish relations with all peoples living within the nation. On the other hand, there is a need for spiritual and to some extent social isolation in order to practice the Torah and preserve Jewish survival. Inclining too far to either side of this dichotomy can result in much evil and confusion. In the proper balance, though, lies the fulfillment of Jewish destiny. And, combined with the yearning for the Messiah, it is the only recipe for the world's salvation. ”

Words of the Zionists - Today's Quote

Ari Gordon

The nationality that started with Max Nordoy before the sixth congress – that there is no need to worry for those who refuse to immigrate to Eretz Yisroel, spun threads to the intrigues of Weitzman that prevented the shortening of the world war with Zionist actions during that time, and continue to this day. (See Ho’oretz Sept. 18, ’92):

“Several weeks ago, Ari Gordon defended the theory by which the mission of the State of Israel and the Jewish Soknos is to help rescue only troubled Jews who are willing to immigrate to Israel. Gordon, the head of the Dept. of immigration and absorption of the Jewish Soknos, expressed the position that was also acceptable to the Soknos during the holocaust. The issue arose concerning the arguments of the leaders of the Jewish community in Saroyva, that Israel only released from the city Jews who were prepared to immigrate to Israel and abandoned the rest. Gordon said that as an Israeli and Zionist he maintains the principle that “Immigration is Rescue”.”
